My Phantom 3 is having a number of problems but I'll start with one. I cannot calibrate my IMU. It stops after 1% and says an unknown error has occured. Does anyone know what to do?

I don't know but suggest

- are you on the latest firmware?
- could you post details of your setup: Advanced or Pro, iOS or Android, etc?

Yes and I am on iOS. I think there is something faulty with the P3 as the Acceleration sensor is showing -16.2 and I do not think that is normal.

I'm on iOS with an iPad Air 2 and have done the calibration with no problem (P2 Pro).  Well, no problem except the gimbal still isn't quite level!

removed battery overnight  - no luck
Formatted SD card
Formatted AirCraft via USB
Tried to reload firmware - it aborts due to same version

Total flight time on this system 9 mins and 41 seconds

Me too! I'm having the same issue, hoping for some help as well....

After the IMU calibration failed, did there any "IMU calibration unfinished" message pop up when restart?
Try calibrating again, if still be aborted. You can wait to cool it down, then power off the aircraft, extract the flight log this time, send it to support. To find out if there is an IMU problem.

It keeps giving me a message of an unknown error occurred during calibration, please try again

I had to send mine in for repair. Wish it did not take so long for a brand new unit.

I have the same problem with a new phantom 3 it has a little crash with a tree I
have this message in my display:

- Accelerometer failed
- gimbal cannot receive mc data

- imu calibration required ( can't do it. Show An error occurred al 1%)

What I can do ?
