I have both the RC and Phantom assistant software loaded on my computer and used it several times. Last night I had to Log back in which is fine. but I can log into the one with the RC assistant, but when i try the Phantom one it wont reconize my password. Anybody else have this problem?

Don't think the software has a login. May be you are having to log into DJI to do the software and any upgrades. Try you DJI login and password.

Dji software works. The assistant when I go to start it a window pops up asking for name and password. I know its only there for software updates, but its annoying when I cant get into it when I do want to do updates. Im just trying to figure out why it only does it on the one program and not the rest of them.

It just checks your ID against its server, the password and name should be identical for both.

Try changing your password on the DJI website and see if it updates.

You can just press cancel and not enter a name/pass

I too have this problem, yet I can log into my account at the DJI website via my browser just fine, so the problem must be with the Assistant software. I'm using v3.8.
UPDATE: The RC System Assistant software logs me in no problem; so it MUST be the DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant_3.8 software that is faulty.

Same issue here. I can log in to the website and the RC software but not the Assistant software.

I am also facing the same problem. I am not able to log in to DJI Phantom 2 Vision Assistant 3.8 but can log in to RC Assistant and the DJI website and this forum. Any one have any solution. I have aslo uninstall and install the softwware no use same problem.

Occasionally the servers may be down and trying later may resolve the issue.
I noticed a couple of people complaining in the last day or so - leads me to suspect a server issue.

Same problem here.
Everything was fine, and now I can't login to update my P2 for a job next week.

And, my Inspire seems to be FUBAR on delivery (yesterday) as well.
Can't install the firmware, and looks like the camera is DOA.

Having a cracking run with DJI at the moment.
I've heard the 'noise' about DJI support being Shiite, but it hasn't come crashing down (PUN) on me until now.
5 chat session, all with lost connections - and the same damned answers being asked.

NOT happy with the $ I've spent to get DOA equipment and this level of 24x7 support.

That said, the Phantom 2 has been flawless for me. Very happy with it.

It's DJI's back end that blows.

The behaviour has changed over the last couple of days.
Initially, it was an error on the login page... "undefined error message:299"

Now it's telling me my username or password is wrong.

Database issues.

I used iCloud to create a new alias, and then registered a new account in Assistant.

Success.
