im attaching 2 links to you tube videos because I think it's the best way to describe my issue. 1 video shows my issue and the other shows the same area with the p3 at the same distance and height as the video of the p3 having issues.  If I land the p3 and shut it off and turn it right back on I can continue to fly without it happening again for a few batteries..  This issue is random and occasionally I've had it happen on the universal lightbridge system I've got on my F550 and again a reset cures the issue. But I don't think this should be happening. Sometimes it happens right away, and sometimes in the middle or end of a flight..

I'm using a iPad so I can't access these videos in full, only thru the director..  On my android device I can because they are saved in the user center part of the app but on the iPad version they aren't..  If you know of a way to access the downlink cache video on iPad other than thru director where you only get 3 sec pieces you have to assemble please let me know

Looking at the videos I'm thinking the 200+ Wifi Routers might have something to do with it.

It only happens once in a great while..  If I land and power cycle the p3 it will be fine again for days..  If wifi routers were the issue you would think it would happen more than twice in 25 flights and about the same for my lightbridge on my F550.. The lightbridge system on my F550 has even done it a couple times in the middle of no where, where I won't even have a cell phone signal...  It's like they get out of sync meaning both systems, air to ground units

I finally figured out the only way to access the cache video files on a iPad is thru iTunes and then copying them to my pc ssd drive..  Then I'm able to do whatever I need to with them.  But anyway I will post both under this reply..  Thanks for helping dji autumn

It did this problem even after landing and being 3ft from the rc. Turning the p3 off and back on fixes the issue and it's fine for days again..  So some kind of automatic downlink resync would be nice..  This could pose a big issue for people.. The video link has to be dependable ya know

This happens on my lightbridge system I put on my F550 also..  It will constantly change channels trying to fix the issue but the only thing that will is power cycling the lightbridge air unit or the p3. Nothing else cures it..  It's a issue in the air unit I think because power cycling the lightbridge ground unit will not cure the issue, nor does power cycling the p3's controller..  Only power cycling the air unit will fix the issue. It doesn't happen all the time, it's random...

I am experiencing the same problem but it happens to me when the battery gets low (30%) what was the temp when you were flying. I had 22 successful flights before this happened to me and it was the hottest weather when it happens.

It hot weather similar things happen after I fly the first battery, I know that's from my iPad mini 2 overheating and slowing down its processor...  I know this because I've started my car with the av on high and put the iPad in front of the vent and within 45 seconds my video was perfect..  So warmer than 70 degrees we need to find some kind of cooling option for these tablets...  I was thinking about trying this cooling device they use in 12 volt beer coolers..  It's cold on one side and hot on the other side from the heat its transferring from the cold side..  I think one of those stuck to the back of my iPad could help..  It will be warmer to touch but the side against the iPad will be cold.. And a 3 cell 5000mah Lopo may be able to power it for some time...
