14,800 ft is no small claim or am I wrong. I'd like to see video proof of that either way. Can't wait till I do though. DJI you could've done it first, like on launch day eailer this week. I guess that's gives someone ells the chance to make that video, which will be bad publisity, but hey it wasn't us we just made the thing right.

Sounds plausible that it can still fly in that altitude if it has enough lifting power

I just asked customer services , they told me is same as phantom vision plus.That is fly limit restriction

I think the OP was confused, thinking it was saying you could fly 14,000ft AGL with your new Inspire 1.
Where as its clearly saying that you can operate in altitudes up to 14,000ft ie flying from the top of a mountain.

Max height above take off is 400'.  I have heard of flights of up to 3km.  The craft is rated to 2km.

Hang on, wait... So 4500m above sea level is operational flying height, but if you are AT sea level, 100m, and that's that?
That could possibly be the most unbelievably misleading advertising ever!
I would want to film at least 1000m above where I take off!
