Hi all, bought my ronin M last few days. Firmware 1.2 .. Problem, with pan drifting slowly while on the stand.

Does the drifting come from the first two minutes you turned on? or you always face the issue?

Once i reset to default. It will go back to center. But after few minutes, it will slowly drift out of center. I can see from the graph.

make sure you are perfectly balanced (official video tutorial for balance the pan axis is not correct - manual instructions are correct- you have to lift each side of the handlebars and not just lean back and forth the gimbal...either way the pan axis should stay centered).
Also you can calibrate from app (to avoid having a usb cable attached)...and make sure the stand is placed somewhere steady.
I had similar problem and i solved it by calibrating from app in the following order:
1. calibrate center - reboot
2. calibrate system
3. auto tune
4. calibrate system - again

Thank for the feedback. I balanced it well. this is my 3rd handheld gimbal as i have 2 units of gimbal using alexmos 32bit and it is easier to set up. Nebula 5000 and Came 7800.

Should be no problem balancing my Ronin M. its just that everytime i set to default, it will be at the centre, but once i try to adjudt the PAN's deadband, speed and etc, it will drift out automatically.

Is a problem with  Firmware 1.2 ? I have version 1.0 Why recommend ?to stay with this version or to make firmware update to 1.2  is same new in 1.2 version ?

i got the same problem with a new ronin m. did you fix it?
