just been out on my first flight / test today and quite disappointed with the range, at 50 foot high I managed 119 mtrs, and straight up managed 200 mtrs all in line of sight is this what I should expect ? item is un modded and as it came out of the box..

Also I bought 2 spares batteries so was expecting an hour of flying but it was the WI FI Range unit that went flat first...........which I thought was odd, is there anything available that I can use to power the wi fi extender for a longer time ?

Any help would be great

Do you live or fly near an airport?

Did you charge the range extender before your first flight?

I run 3 batteries for as you say, an hour in the air and the range extender never drops below 80%.
First charge of the extender should be around 4 hours, or until the LED turns Green.
Oh and 650ft altitude is not going to win you any friends in the CAA.

Hi Guys thanks for the replies so far, no I live no where near an airport, im in a very rural location the middle of a forest, wifi unit was fully charged,
