I've been charging my transmitter and wifi repeater using a computer USB port. The wifi repeater takes about 3 /12 to 4 hours to charge. Can I use the Iphone 6 adapter and plug it into a wall outlet to charge the wifi repeater and transmitter? I have an older computer and usb 1.0 ports that are outputting 500ma or .5a. The iphone 6 adapter is rated at 1000ma or 1a. I'm assuming using the iphone6 adapter pluged into a wall outlet will reduce charging time to half? My biggest concern is whether I could damage the wifi repeater or transmitter battery or shorten the life of the battey by using the iphone charger

The phone charger will be fine, I have used all sorts of USB devices to charge my extender, including my PS4....
