Hi,

I have a Phantom 2 Vision and a Phantom 2 Vision+.
Recently, my camera gimbal in the Vision+ was damaged and was sent to repair.

After checking with the possibility of buying a brand new camera gimbal set, I am now considering to upgrade my Vision to Vision+ by installing the 3-axis camera gimbal set of Vision+ to my Vision. I know the transmitters for Vision and Vision+ are compatible, I might also need to add wires in the Vision and upgrade the firmware.  May I ask if this is possible?

It  is not recommend to exchange the camera and gimbal within Vision and vision+.

First ,It may cause compatible problem as different  type set.

More ,the transmitter of the 2 type drone is different.
The V+ have added the gimbal control wheel on the left top while the vision not.

Is that a no-no ?  I always refer to it as a drone.  It flies by its self better than I can - lol

The "D" word was a no no but It seems to be now acceptable.

Sorry! I do not know that is a no-no In China many people name it as a "drone" and reporters describe DJI as a Drone Provider so I use this word automatically

Nah, it's not any kind of "official" no-no.  The problem I see is that all the bad press that seems to be popping up in the media everywhere is generally lumping practically everything that flies under the rubric of "DRONE".  Apparently the press is too lazy to make any kind of distinction between military, civilian, fixed wing, rotary wing or even quad-cat-copter.  Call it a personal preference of mine to distinguish myself from all the idiotic people that are actually piloting the stuff that is going to potentially ruin it for the rest of us.  Grrrrr!
