Yes, i would do the calibration after long transportation.

Which one should do often, compass calibration or IMU calibration?
in previous phantom version, I often do the compass calibration and never do the IMU calibration

Compass:  Whenever you change location from last takeoff
IMU: After firmware update, long transport, signs of abnormality(tilted video, flight drift, startup errors etc)

This is cool.  So we no longer need a computer to calibrate the IMU ?   Awesome !

In the video I can see you have connected the RC to the Display device with a USB cable. Is this necessary or can we just connect via the RC's wi-fi signal as usual?
