Does anyone know what synchronous follow switch in the gimbal menu does if you switch it off?

sorry, didn't quite understand that...

what is the "synchronous follow switch"?  i don't seem to see that in my gimbal menu...

Its a little extra on the Android App only for now. This turns off/on the Pre movement of the gimbal it makes when you yaw the craft ( the small left/right movement the gimbal makes when YAW'ing ). Its something people wanted

You also have "Gimbal Pitch Smooth". This gives the gimbal a "ramp" to a stop rather than sudden as it was before when tilting the gimbal. Should make it look much smoother in video . Again something people wanted

Interesting. It (Gimbal Pitch smooth) doesn't seem to do anything. At least on the ground, anyway....what did I miss?

Derp. Had to update to FW v1.4.0010. Nice!

You have to move the bird in order to see it's function. Turn it on and "fly" the quad around the room, then turn it off and you should see the difference.

Which option (on or off) for the "Gimbal YAW synchronous follow" setting give you the 'smoothest' video?

Actually, I had to go to the latest (v1.4.0010 firmware for the Gimbal Pitch Smooth) to function. Very nice! Reminds me of the expo settings on my Futaba SG14....

Neither Gimbal Pitch Smooth or Gimbal Yaw Synchronous Follow do anything for me.  I have tried on both Android and and iPad.

Any ideas?
