Hi, I'll try to be very specific:

Model
Phantom 2 Vision +

Issue
The live video that should appear on DJI app is not working properly. Sometimes it appears, sometimes it doesn't appear. I went to film two events of friends of mine this weekend and in both they started working, but after disconnecting and connecting again to change the battery it didn't work anymore (I have 4 batteries and tried with all of them, so, I think it's not a battery issue).

In the iPhone, the screen shows all the status but where it should show the video, it shows the loading animation spinning forever. In the android, it doesn't even appear the loading animation, just a black screen.

I thought that it could be outdated firmware so I updated everything. But unfortunately it's still not working.

What can I do to make it work again???

Solutions tried
. Updated all firmware
. Rebind camera
. Change devices
. Update the camera
. Uninstalled and installed again the mobile app

Firmware
Main Controller: 3.14
GPS: 6.0.1.4
Receiver-5.8G: 1.0.1.3
P330CB: 1.0.2.10
Battery: 2.6.0.0
Zen IMU: 1.0.0.6
Camera: 1.3.0g
Naza-M: 3.14

Tested phones
iPhone 5S (iOS 8.4): 1.0.52(1903)
iPhone 6 (iOS 9.1): 1.0.52(1903)
Nexus 5 (Android 5.1.1): 1.0.57

I only know of the following can give that problem. 1. Check the three connectors plugged into the gimbel. Make sure they at connected tight and inspect each plug for any looks pins. Next item is harder you have to remove the top shell and check the video feed from the wireless transmitter. Wiggle the connection and make sure it is also tight and no corrosion. If thos two do fix the issue then that will point to the wifi transmitter being bad. Here is a photo of the cable to check.

Hi Roy,

Thanks a lot for the help, but I tried this and the issue still continues happening.

I saw in another topic (http://forum.dji.com/forum.php?m ... id%3D2%26typeid%3D2) that it could be that the wifi module was getting to hot. Can it be right? What could I do, and isn't it a DJI mistake?

It can be the wifi transmitter. If you've checked the cables at the gimbel and at the tx and have the same issue on two tables or phones your next step would be to contact DJI tech support . That is if you quad is less than a year old and you have the paperwork from the purchase date. If not then I would look for another tx module on eBay .

Do you know if DJI has any local dealer in Brazil?

Hey guys, just did some tests with my P2V+ and I think it's definitely overheating in the wi-fi module.

What I tested:
. DJI VISION App
. Autopilot App (US$20,00)

I tried all the solution I saw people trying  with the phantom as you can see my first reply here: http://forum.dji.com/thread-31833-1-1.html

What I did now:

1. Went outside my house and flew if the phantom, with the live video working. I flew it in a fast speed and big turns, so it could get a lot of air.

2. Landed the phantom and changed the battery after my first one ran out. The live video was still working.

3. Flew in very slow speed, like I was doing a "Point of interest" flight. This way, the phantom wasn't getting to much air to cool it down. The live video was still working.

4. Landed the phantom, and turned it of. The live video was still working.

5. Turned it on again and started flying fast for 5 minutes so it could get more air again. The live video was still working.

6. Landed the phantom, turned it off and turned it on. For my surprise, the live video was working again.
Both apps the live video didn't work after step 3. Both apps started working after step 6.

So, my conclusion is that it's a project error from DJI and if your phantom is still in warranty, explain that to them so they could change you wi-fi module. There are some people that did that. Unfortunately, I'm from Brazil and I won't be able to send it back to them. So, I will try a solution that I saw in a video, using thermal paste in the wi-fi board ().

Let you guys now if this solved the problem.
