I've been trying to test the Follow Me Mode with my Phantom 3 but when I do I get a "Weak Satellite Signal" message in the top left of my screen.
However I may be connected to 15 satellites or more at the time and the GPS mode is showing green (Safe to Fly GPS).
Other flight modes such as  Course Lock or Point of Interest seem to work just fine in the same environment.
Can anyone shed light on what my problem might be?

its the GPS on the tablet thats the issue, its not getting a good lock and can't start follow me, where was the tablet located ?

What device was it ?

The tablet is an iPad2 and was in close proximity to the Phantom.
Do i need to change any settings on the tablet?

Hi ,
Your tablet should have the GPS unit for the "Follow Me" . An Ipad with cellular should be capable of that .

As stated, the iPad should be a cellular model, otherwise it does not have a GPS function, Location Services needs to be enabled on the pad and it needs to be out in the open where it can see the GPS satellites.

OK, that's the problem. The iPad does not have cellular capability.
Guess I'll have to use my iPhone for Follow Me Mode...

I wanted to try follow me with my phantom 4 and have the same problem !!!
I didn't understand why it didn't want to start because of loss gps because my phantom was ok with gps and sattelite >15
It's the tablet that follow the ipad, not you  ;-)
i was thinking that follow me was working with camera, you check you in camera and phantom 4 follow you but no  ;-(
It mean to that you must keep near you your radio and your tablet, not very good
Active track is working with camera to follow you or not ?
