Just got my Phantom 3 Pro,  was browsing my application store (mini ipad/iphone6) saw the normal suggested app "DJI GO" ... downloaded it.. felt it was a bit limited...was a bit difficult to navigate, or try find something specific.  I saw a couple other apps, but would like to check in with you guys...   does anyone have any recommendations?

I've only flown with the DJI GO app and love it. What was limited about it.
And difficult to navigate, everything new is like that until you play with it for a while. Give it a week and you'll probably like it.

Hands down, Litchi on Android. They just came out with iOS but it the very first day of beta so it probably won't hit the street for a month or so.

there are some decent apps likr litchi and pix4d out there, but for the usual flight and shooting  i prefer DJI GO

navigating, finding the flight modes, like follow me .. can't remember the others... is there something that could show me what the DJI GO app has? and where to find it?

Here's the P3 pro manual, starting on page 34 has info onthe DJI Go app and where tabs are located.
It's a really informative manual.
Page 26 shows you how to use the different flight modes,

Loaded the Litchi Beta on my iPad Mini 2 last night. Everything appears to be functioning but I haven't flown with it yet. Maybe today if the weather holds. I would suspect that it'll be a least a month before they put it on the street but you never know. I'll let you know how it went after I put it in the air. In the interim, here's a link to the Litchi help section for Android. It tells all about it and has manuals you can download. The iOS version will be a bit different but the functions should be quite similar.

Also, a really cool feature is if you go to the Academy tab (little icon of a graduation hat top right when you first open the DJI GO app) there's all the manuals and tutorial videos that are very informative, plus a flight simulator as well.

I prefer the DJI GO, but I will try out Litchi

The limitation for me is you can only fly it 500m away from you now.  That will not work in my situation.
