Question, how do I adjust the camera settings in the iOS version? DO I set that up in the DJI GO app and then switch over to yours? I might have missed something.
Hi, Since you have used the Litchi app already maybe you can answer me 1 question. After the mission is uploaded, will the P3 auto take off, or do you have to launch the mission after the P3 is airborne? Thanks
Honestly, I have run exactly one mission and I ran mine after takeoff. I don't trust any apps to takeoff for me. Once the P3 was in the air, I hit the play button and away she went
Thank you. After your earlier post I also looked for camera settings and did not find anything. I have not connected it to my aircraft as yet, but I also could not find a way to manually start the camera. I guess that is covered under the 'Auto Record' function.
"Worth" is a difficult word to assign. I thought it was worth it because I have been looking for a reliable way to setup waypoints offline from my couch. You might not need that so it might not seem worth it to you. I will say this: There are definitely some refinements that I will be looking for in the future. I would like tone able to control the camera better from inside the app itself, instead of having to do it in the DJI GO app ahead of time. If I am missing something, hopefully someone will point it out to me!
I have been waiting for litchi, was also considering autopilot or air nest. I Could get all 3, but I would rather not if I could get away with buying just one of them
Camera settings are not part of the iOS app yet. You can use DJI Go to change them, for recording you can use the Auto record setting or the RC's hardware button.

When I'm home I want to fly to somewhere that is about 5,000' away but my bird will only go to about 3,300 away and then RTH so I don't get all that close. If I set up a mission before hand in Litchi to fly to the 5,000' distance will my bird do that or will she still RTH at about 3,300'?
If it DOES happen to go to the 5,000' away then I assume I'd still get video of the entire trip but that I just wouldn't get live streaming of the trip.
Even if the signal is lost, the mission will continue so yes it will go 5000ft away, unless it thinks it won't have enough battery to complete the mission in which case it will RTH. But 5000 ft is easily doable with full battery. Yes you'll get full video, the live stream may break though depending on area.
A few questions please... how soon before the Apple version matches the android version in features?... In comparison right now the apple version is very limited.
I have created a mission in Mission Hub. Downloaded the the mission and placed it in the Litchi directory on my Ipad mini with Itunes...However it does not show up in the Litchi app when trying to load missions... What am i doing wrong?
ps ...I also used IFunbox to move the file to the ipad and still no luck in seeing it.
We'll try our best to bring more features to iOS as soon as possible, but it will take time, especially with the Apple review system. No ETA yet for additional flight modes, we're currently working on improving the Mission Hub and adding auto sync.
For the mission, make sure you place it inside the "missions" folder, that's why you need to use ifunbox, as iTunes does not allow placing files inside subfolders.

Is it just me or is the iOS version of Litchi missing a bunch of stuff that it has on Android??
...
Yeah it is missing a bunch. I was told that iOS version is still a work in progress and they are working on getting the camera features in it. Right now I have been setting up the camera in DJI Go, closing it, then opening Litchi and running my mission. Pain in the ass, but it works for now.
Yeah I got a little bit confused after reading the help/instruction page for the app. It says to have your controller speed equal to or greater than your cruise speed. But by default the app has the cruise speed set higher than the controller speed.
