When I turned my phantom 3 standard on, I got an announcement saying that there was a new winter update and so I downloaded the update and began to install it when it stalled just under %50. It told me that the update had failed and then, when I tried to update it again, it took less then 30 seconds for it to update but began to beep, very loudly and repeatedly. I tried letting it just beep until it stopped but it didn't. All the values while on the DJI go app are N/A. Please help.

Yes I have the same problem with my standard.  Have not been able to figure any fixes out.  Don't know why they don't offer the firmware downloadable like the other models.

It's normal the aircraft beeps when updating . The App will remind when the upgrade finished .  Please wait till it completes and reboot the aircraft . If not successful, Please post the upgrade log in the HIDDEN FOLDER of the SD card. The file name should be:  P3_FW_LOG_AB.txt
To find the right file, please try to access the Hidden Folder of the SD card by this way:

The beeping is very loud and the file says "Firmware bin file is corrupted, download it again from the DJI offical website." but I cannot find the download for the Standard.

My problem is that the button to upgrade is not there on the DJI go app for me but the firmware on the aircraft is corrupt. I have tried re-installing the app and wipeing the sd card.

I also had the same problem with my p3s, about a month ago. I sent an email to the dji, and called them, they both told me my drone was defective. I'm not sure if they were actually right about that, but since I had not flow it yet I was able to get a new one sent to me for free.

I do not have the bin file because of the Sd format so I do not believe I am currently on any software.

Hi it happen to me before. I was confused because my p3s was beeping all the time . Mmm so what I did is format the ad card and the DJI go app . Then install it again and try to update the software again I leave the phantom updating and beeping for 15 minutes and then my get updated successfully

Do you mean SD card? And did you just re-install the DJI go app? When you did these two things, was the button there on the app for you to update the firmware or did you do something else? Lastly, do you remeber what the color of the L.E.D was on the gimbal board when it was updating?

I have tried re-installing the DJI go app many times and on different devices but the update button continues to flash when I open it and go away.

You need to delete the dji-go app completely from your device.  The update is first downloaded automatically to your device from the dji site.  It is stored on your device.  If the Dji-Go app see's the file on your device,  it will assume it is already downloaded and will not download again.  So totally delete the entire dji directory from your device.  Now re-install the Dji-Go app.  Now  turn on the controller,  then the phantom.  Now connect your device to the internet. and select to download firmware.  After download is finished,  connect your device to the Phantom3 wifi.  Select to begin upgrade.  There will be a bunch of beeps,  then 4 beeps in a row for a while.  All the lights on the arms will turn red for a while.  Just walk away from the thing and come back in half an hour.  Restart everything,  do an imu and compass recalibration and you will be good to go.  If you have more than one battery,  you will have to do this for every battery,  but that takes only a few minutes per battery.

I have gotten a response from DJI after sending them an email.

Dear Sir,

Please try to upgrade again and in order to check the upgrade status,please send the LOG file in your SD card to us as the following steps.
1.Make sure your PC can show the hidden files.
2.Connect your Phantom 3 with your PC through the usb line,and turn on the aircraft,then the SD card in the camera will be shown.
3.You can find the LOG file through this path ---\MISC\LOG\P3C_FW_LOG_.txt,and please send the txt. to us through this chat.
below are the websites where you can check how to show the hidden files in your PC.

Yes the SD card .
what i did  is delete all the files in the sd card
then delete cache and all the info in the dji go app
then delete the dji go from my divide . if you have file explorer in your phone make sure that everything was deleted

Then re install the DJi go app
connect the phantom
the app will tell yu that there is a new software for your phantom
download it and install it . you are going to see the bar progress and the phantom is going to be beefing all the time i leave my phantom updating for like 15 minutes beeping and then
it works perfectly

I formatted the SD card and then did both, I downloaded the app onto a completely different device and re-installed the app on the other device.

Ok, so you can see live video so we know your connected to the Phantom. In the general settings tab, scroll down to About and  see if the aircraft says 1.3.0050
