I installed this on my Nexus 7 last week getting it direct from DJI  , I tried to update to the  latest version but it wouldnt let me so Im stuck at 2.4.3 on my nexus 7 .

So for the people that are stuck like me just download the file to your pc then connect your device to the pc and then move the apk file  to your download folder on your Android device  .

On android device you need to find out how you can allow installation of unknown sources , just a matter of turning on a simple setting on mine google it for what device you have .

Then on your device just navigate to where you placed the file tap on it and install .

File is 74mg

Select the slow download option wait for the timer and fill in the captcha  .

Ok, an update to my download attempt.  After several fruitless attempts using my tablet I also went through several bouts of dealing with pop-ups on a desktop computer notifying me my computer was infected and I should call some number, yadda, yadda, yadda...

EVENTUALLY I got the captcha to appear and the slow laborious download process started.  It finished and I renamed the file and dropped it into a folder on the tablets SD card.   Bypassed the security warning and SHAZAM!  THE GREAT BIRD OF THE UNIVERSE SMILED DOWN UPON MY TABLET -- it installed.

The app still seems to freeze when I attempt to go into camera mode but after a few more attempts I did get up into the air and flew a point-of-interest circle with no problem and landed safely.

Whew!

Glad you finally got it installed , it seems like you have a machine with a virus or malware .

Dont know what to do for your tablet phone but your PC you should get Malwarebytes  its a very good program  .
https://www.malwarebytes.org/

And if you frequent adult sites go get Sandboxie  , its a program where you can run your browser inside a sandbox which means its impossible to get infected with any malware or virus no matter where you go or what you click on while your browser is running inside Sandboxie because its running inside a virtual environment outside of your operating system  , you can use the free version which has a 5 second delay built in on startup .
http://www.sandboxie.com/

I dont run antivirus programs at all just the 2 above and I have never had a virus get past them .

Yeah true it is probably the best malware protection and removal there is  , its no such much virus these days as it is malware , used to be script kiddies going haha knowing they screwed someones machine , today its trojans looking to steal credit cards and accounts or make you pay to remove their bogus software that takes over your machine , the porn sites are riddled with them , all you got to do is click on the right link and they got you if your not protected , Sandboxie is like a brick wall they cant get in .

Just to clarify for anyone interested, I'm not alluding to, blaming or otherwise casting aspersions on RodB. ok?

The short story is like this: After I clicked on "Low speed download" a new tab opened and the URL changed rapidly indicating a redirect.  It happened on both my tablet AND a desktop computer that NEVER had a previous incident of a webpage redirected like that before.  The only thing common between them was the rapidgator website.

The original tab had the countdown message: "Please hold, download will start in 45 seconds. Do not wish to wait? Please click here. Premium users download files without delays and at maximum speed!"

At the end of the countdown the captcha window SHOULD have appeared, but didn't.

After multiple attempts on both the tablet and desktop I eventually lucked out and got a captcha screen and successfully downloaded and installed the DJO-Go.apk

And I am giving both devices a good scrubbing behind the ears.

Hi gil , most of the free hosting sites will have pop ups and redirects its how they can make something of the free users , I have adblock installed which stops a lot of that stuff , normally its no fuss just an inconvenience to wait for the timer and captcha and close the add redirect but your deal sounds to me like there is more going on .

The nature of your redirect reminds of the old XP virus that basically took over the machine and browser with things like your computer was scanned and it has numerous virus if you want to remove click here which takes you to somewhere where you pay , it was pure extortion and a pain in the ass to remove .

Give your machine a thorough cleaning and scan in software mode , good luck with it mate its very annoying when your computers are being infected with crap , my internet machine  I built 6 years ago and its only been infected once and its online 18hrs a day , Ive had most antivirus programs at one time or another and as Ive said today I only use malwarebytes and sandboxie  , I also use the free Comodo firewall it leaves the Windows firewall for dead .
