I have some problem with new model phantom 4K 2016 (not pro version) When i want IMU Calbiration i get zero information. if i press on Check IMU or Imu Cal. Nothings work. is something wrong with the sensor? I reinstall the app. I have Try IMu cal. in the bassment, outside, living room, notthing helps. I did before i want Calbiration everthing is waterlevel.


Can someone tell me what happened i try everthing is new model but for this is no firmware upgrade?..

Did you update the firmware?

My P3 4K edition But i need first IMU calibration before i start to flight. When i start with calibarion. "IMU calibration is in progress. please wait" but after 25 min notthing happend still bar at 0%

I have the same problem IMU will not calibrate. I have been told that we have to wait for new firmware.

Yes I hear that to I hope that the firmware come fast. Every new p34k owner have issue with imu calibrate.

hi, same for me new P3 4K received wednesday and still unable to do EMU calibration
i sent an email to dii europe to know their answer, i'll let you know but it is unbelievable that a new
product needs a firmware prior to be used by customers.....

Yes a lot have the same problems with this new model. I got also on Wednesday. Thanks let me know! I don't know how long we have to wait for update?

Just updated my P34k yesterday to latest firmware . IMU calibrated just fine for me . Dunno whats up with others having the issue ?

Just Updated my p34k to latest firmware and had no issue updating the imu calibration ....

There is a issue on some of the Phantom3 4k models and it needs to be sent in for repair. A firmware fix is in the works but you should not fly it until then as you cannot calibrate the IMU and it may fly unstable.

Is there still a problem with this as I will be picking up my 4K tomorrow and Is it having problems and US or other states

Where I can find the new firmware of this model coz when I start my p34k don't show any updates.

Let's us know if u have the same problem. My DOA request is accepted. They swap for new one. But I think is major problem the firmware?.

just been in contact with DJI EU, as soon as i explained my IMU CALIBRATION PROBLEM, they told me
they will replace it for a new one...I am now waiting their call back to proceed to shipping

Maybe they aware about the problem? Coz Eu-costumer services send me email their waiting for new shipping they not have that model in stock.

I am having the same issue with my new P34K. I contacted support line and they also said that i should just send it back. I'm not sure what to do, should i send it back or wait for the firmware upgrade?

The Pro version IS the 4k model ! I also posted the link for the advanced version as well .
I went on Google and did a search and found a you tube vid and followed that as a guide to updating the firmware AFTER i down loaded it from the link i posted  . However , that was before I joined this site . I would think there would be info right here on how to do it . It's not real hard BUT does have a quite a few steps and they MUST be followed exactly to the "letter" .

No this is the new Phantom 3 4K which is otherwise similar to the standard (but controller looks more like Adv/Pro)
A lot of things are different in the maintenance side, and it uses wifi not USB to the controller.

The Professional version IS NOT the 4K model... The 4K model was released some days ago and is a Standard model with 4k cam and some other tweaks... Anyway. I got in contact with DJI and my 4K will be delivered in some days, they promised that the IMU bug is not inside my drone, so I guess they fixes it and release an update for the firmware soon.

There was a bug that why a lot of new owners have the same issues. i have send my already back now waiting for replacement.

I have the same issue what is the process return it to de store for exchange ore it is something that is fixable with the new firmware? Thank you

mine out of the box showed it needed the IMU calibrated and firmware upgrade too.   After I read how to do the IMU calibrate then it seemed to work just fine.   I just finished flying it for the first time and everything went great.

I have exactly the same issue here in Spain. I sent back the P3 4K to DJI in Spain and the have no clue how to repair it....  hopefully I will get it back soon in perfect working condition!
