I installed the new 2.5.1 IOS version on my iPad mini 4

No issues with the installation. (To dark to fly ;-)

(Fixed no fly zone issues is the descriptions)

Pilots and DJI admins ....enjoy the weekend

Anybody else get a chance to test this?

Nothing changed for me, all red NFZ Crimson and Scarlet circled areas are well outside of our vast city limits.

Thankfully our flying field has been spared as well. ;-)

And we can still fly indoors on the old Municipal airport grounds. Ha

Nothing changed here either. I wasn't having any problems before and I'm not having them now. I'm just at the edge of the EWR no fly zone so I was a bit worried but it works fine.

Not sad at all.  Just wise decision making on your part.

I just installed it and now the app crashes every time I start it :*( Any help?

I am having the same problem with my iPhone 6. I did the upgrade and now the app crashes about 20 seconds after I open it. I am not running any other apps while trying to use it. I have deleted the app and shut down the phone then reinstalled and it still crashes. I am grounded until it is resolved. Very disappointing.

You should have a try again. I do not have the problem now.

I just reinstalled the app on my ipad air, and amazingly i no longer live in a No Fly Zone.   While I find the app was saying i had poor connections and the video feed was terrible.  I will have to test it out tomorrow,  but it seems to have fixed the wrong no fly zones for me

Guys I open the app without aircraft connection and i don't have no fly zone.If I open my aircraft and be connected with my remote I have no fly zone!In the same area!!!!

Just conjecture, but 2.5.1 was probably rushed out in response to the 2.5 debacle.  So, this release had little to no testing. Not surprised it just crashes for some. It seems like they barely bother to test regular releases so why should it be different here? DJI takes a shotgun wait and see what happens to the masses approach regarding software releases.

Strange - is there a difference in the firmware of the drone? (1.6 or 1.7)

I am not using the pilot 1.7

guys do a format to microsd and reinstall the app!i had the same problem and now I'm ok!i am flying again!!!

Your right, everything was working fine the next day.

I got rid of the big no fly zones by deleting and reinstalling the app.  It was, iirc, a server error and reinstalling fixed it for me.  All the other fixes did not work but that did.
