I'm looking for a tablet (not a cell phone) that can be used in the OSMO Phone Holder.  Has anyone found something that would work?

If you use a 3-d printed extention you could use just about any tablet thats supported, there are few extentions available on ebay.

I came across '' Mudder Universal tablet tripod adaptor''. I was just wondering if this could be adapted to connect to the OSMO handle. I would prefer using my mini ipad.
I think it might have possibilities. Any body got any suggestions

Nice ... you can put connect a cold shoe adapter and then from there connect it to the universal OSMO Mount.  That might work!

it's going to be pretty heavy carrying it around holding it with one hand.

Yup, that's for sure. I did do a venture in your country a few years ago. Rented a car in Dublin and drove all over the southern half (over 1,300 miles) in a week and stayed a night is a plush room at the Ashford Castle. One of the best vacations I've ever been on.

I'm glad you had a lovely time. Wish we got a bit  more sun in Ireland.
We have not had  a decent spell  of weather this  winter. Have not been unable to fly much in the last 2 to 3 months because of  the windy conditions.( one storm after the other).

Received the Muller Universal Mount. Its  quite sturdy and am pleased with it.
I have connected to the OSMO  in two ways.
Option

Option 1.
Connect directly to the  OSMO handle.  I would go for this option once the new  DJI  microphone is available. It will be a very neat job then.

Option 2.
Connect to the DJI Extension Arm which will have your existing  microphone attached.
This is a little bit cumbersome .

I am very pleased with the result.
