hi

I'm trying to embed a you tube video and tried using both the Video and flash options. The video option just gives a hyper link and the flash option a blank white area instead of the video.

Any help appreciated.

     Just copy the web address; for example - "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTpRYbOkmms" and paste it in the post, without the quotes, like this;

I used the "video" button then pasted the youtube link.  Although for whatever reason it never works right in IE so I have to use Google Chrome or Firefox.  I also had an issue where if your youtube link has any kind of additional tag or tracker at the end it wont work, it has to be just the basic youtube URL.  I hope this points you in the right direction.

Probably because you're using a m.youtube link. Try the link as seen on a computer.

Try this...



If you're posting from a mobile device, remove the m in the hyperlink and replace it with the regular html of www.

     You have to open up the video on YouTube and copy the http:// address and just the address.  Anything else will stop the process.  I took yours out of your post.

     Try it again and see if you can make it work.  We are patient here.

     You can try to insert the video again with this thread.  It will be practice.  Go for it!  That way you will know it works.  I was not even sure it would work when I did the other two videos.  You only learn by trying.

     This is the one that should have worked.  ryan noted that Internet Explorer does not allow videos to be pasted in this forum and suggested using Chrome or Firefox.  I use Chrome and as you can see it works for me.  What browser are you using?  Try downloading Chrome and try "http://youtu.be/6pyYEvg-n58" again.

     Truer words were never said.  Even here in Hawai'i we have rain, wind and VOG issues!  The longest I have been grounded is three weeks, but then part of that was Obama being here and the FAA grounded all flying within ten miles.

     When I was putting up my last thread, I noticed I was having problems getting the video to display like you were.  What got me out of trouble was to leave the original YouTube video up and displaying while I copied the link to the forum post.  Apparently, the link needs to be active while the link is copied and pasted.  At least that worked for me.   Maybe you can give it a try again?

no link yet.  I will get it out and take a photo someday though.  On another note I have a request from the DJI experts or anyone with a DJI Inspire 1 could help.  I am posting a video to show my question about the Gimble on these.  If this is a unit missing the machine screw or is it just the way they ship?
