So purchased one of them metal device holder and glare screens and thought I would have a play with the standard holder, as its a bit wiggly:

Used a bit of epoxy metal and filled in the holes on both sides, an hour later its a solid as the metal one, could of done a neater job but I doubt I will end up using it.

    Yes, those holders are a bit wiggly.  The metal one on my Inspire is MUCH Better.   I always enjoy pilots modification's , successful or not, it spawns inspiration.
