Hey,

does anyone has some ideas how to carry the inspire 1 on the back?

I think this could be useful in different cases. The following two count for me:

1. I would like to use the inspire in rural areas where no streets are.
2. I dont have a car, but a motorcycle.

Get a water proof backpack that fits the inspire.

Most any external frame pack will work.  The folks at Myster Ranch make a really great one

Yeah, to get a waterproof additional backpack sounds like a good idea.
Initially i was thinking of manually adding some stuff to carry the original on the back.
But I don't have time right now to develop such a construction myself...

I couldn't find the size of the case on the DJI web page. Somewhere else in the Internet I found inch numbers and converted them to centimeter.

My result is: 55.626cm * 49.022cm * 23.876cm

is this right?

I wonder if this will work?
http://www.amazon.com/Seattle-Sp ... s=dry+pack+backpack

Case dimensions are 23 x 11 x 21 inches correct?
Backpack dimensions are 35 x 16 x 16 inches

Since it's a flexible bag take 5 inches off one 16 and add it to the other and you get a perfect fit 35 x 11 x 21 bag. I am guessing, since you are going from square to a rectangle you might have some extra room to spare. Someone smarter than me confirm my logic :-)

I was also looking at this one, it is better quality but is one inch short, but may still fit if upper logic applies.

Let us calculate the space:
Inspire       size = 23 x 11 x 21 = 5313
Backpack  size = 35 x 16 x 16 = 8960

So from theoretical available space it should work.
But the problem here is that much of the extra space of the backpack comes from the length. But the additional length you can not use (try to imagine how you punt the case in if you wonder why).

So lets cut of the length (just in the imagination). Then the backpack gets:

23 x 16 x 16 = 5888

This is still bigger than the Case size of 5313. If we assume that the backpack is not stiff at all I say it should work to get it in somehow (maybe would not look pretty if the connections between bottom and sides of the backpack are stiff).

This is no guarantee but I think maybe worth a try, cause you can probably send it back... Please tell if it works if y buy it...

@nar907   Since crazyzebras says its 556x490x240mm  and 24cm is 9.44882inch. According to this your number is wrong.

@pinpointmapping and @nar907

Can you give an example of any backpack that could be used with the inspire 1 case (556x490x240mm) ?
After some research on Taobao I could not find one which is big enough..
