DJI GO 2.7 has been announced for IOS

Android version will be available later today

What's New in Version 2.7.0

- Added support for Phantom 4
- Added support for Inspire RAW
- Added support for Zenmuse XT

Yea!  Now the cry baby ArtistFirst will finally be silenced (hopefully).

That seems to be the way it's been lately. Sneak little extra sumpin-sumpin's in the newer updates and let the owners find it on their own.

nope... i live and work in a place where I cant fly far away, and even i can i wouldn't like to risk. I flew here about 220 high and 350 m away with full RC and HD signal  (Picture is not mine)

video signal got better. Now we have 32 channels. It's more clear and stable

WOO HOO!!!! I've been sitting here staring at my Galaxy tab thinking of flying tonight but did not install that APK and BAMMMO..

So glad I didnt fly with this damn Android unit.  I am so friggen excited right now.  Like a kid.

If I can get any good night shots, I'll post them later.  This is like 5 Christmas'. I am so hooked!

Downloaded DJI GO 2.7 and got my P4 connected and registered.   Tried out the simulator for a few minutes since it is raining outside.  The P4 is my first drone in this class; I only have experience with a Syma X5C, which I have mastered both outdoors and in.  The simulator was 1000 times more stable than the wily X5C, which has really touchy controls and never really keeps still without constant inputs.  Anxious to see if the P4 is really that stable in real life.     

I was a little surprised that the P4 made a fan noise the whole time I was doing the simulator -- I kept the simulator session short to avoid battery drain.

It is normal,  nothing to worry about. Fan is cooling internal parts of the aircraft

Thanks DJI-Tim.  I was mainly surprised as I didn't figure the aircraft would be playing an active role in the simulation.  

I did not have rotors mounted, and could see that the motors were not spinning, so the fan sound did surprise me -- thanks for letting it know it is nominal.  As such, I take it to mean that the battery drain on the aircraft while using the simulator is not trivial.

Anyone notice in the new IOS v2.7  that the Set Home Point/Set Home  Point to the Controller Setting on the right side of the screen is  missing?

There are now only 3 Options showing Auto Take Off-Gimbal Mode-Auto Landing---

Thank you Tim. Does this mean if I don't do this upgrade I will not be able to fly my new P4 with my current IOS version 2.4.2 which I use for my p3A?  Also you mentioned 32 channels is available, does this mean the application will do an auto search of all 32 channels instead of the current 8? Thanks very much

The P4 is much more stable than the Syma X5C. You will love it.

The GEO Beta app is it's own beta app and not part of this firmware update.

In the US there is still 8 channels available, same as before.

But nothing new for Phantom 3,,,

You'll find your Phantom to be SUPER stable.

Latest version on the android marketplace appears to be 2.6.1 still as of 3-14 -4pm eastern time

My osmo with the x5 and the aluminum eBay x5 adapter works much better with 2.7.0 no more app crash in different camera settings.

This update fixed my sync issues - Thanks - greate

Is Geofencing active?

Anything for OSMO? axis drifting, loss of soundsync, audio clicks?

Correct! with 32 channels the video transmission is stable and crystal clear
