Love this place!

Drone falls or crashes due to hardware/firmware.  Dji members of this forum instantly brand the person a liar and tell them it's their own fault for "flying the drone"
Drone doesn't power on. Forum members again call out liar and basically tell the person it's their fault for trying to fly the drone they bought.

A good forum member will use tactics such as name calling, insulting a person's intelligence and personal character.
As a last retort, it seems telling the op he/she is to stupid to fly a drone and should never even think about buying one ever again.

Makes me wonder..........does Dji have a lot of employees as forum members here? Or is it the mentality that my drone is working fine and I should flame all who have a problem?

My P4 flys just fine and I don't get how unhelpful people on this forum can be.

Wow what a story. This was a lesson for everyone. I'm happy you got your bird fixed. Be careful in the future and fly safe.

My P4 did the same thing last week. The motors just stopped and it fell out of the sky from 60ft. My battery was low so I did a RTH. When it reached 60ft it just died midair and landed hard breaking the shell and gimbal. I assumed the battery had died in flight but when I finally made it over to the drone the battery was still on with 1 bar solid and 2nd bar blinking but the P4 had no power.
Pilot error maybe? I have no clue what happened.

My battery sits in similar position you should hear a click and it should be locked in place, I'm glad your back in the air, whatever deal you got , good for you, every day I fly my P4 it is with some trepidation as to what will happen even feeling in control we will never know what faith lies in store, that all adds to the enjoyment and experience of flying this wonder machine, be safe Peter and enjoy the ride..

You need to check this with DJI support. Sounds like a hardware malfunction. They'll ask you for the flight log, so you better have that ready. Hope you get this fixed.

This happened to me too.  At 232 feet it started free falling.  Lost all communictaions and video stopeed recording at 160 feet.  Smashed into grass. Broken landing legs.  Second day of owning it. 6 th flight.  All other flights went great.

I had the same problem today batt 90% warning came up Battery error, i was about 40m up and the p4 just fell out off the sky this is not pilot error.

I’m having problems with my battery being loose on mine and causing the same issue! It has fell and had minor damage the battery compartment is loose I notice the gap since I’d unboxed it and didn’t think much. It’s now sent back to DJI for evaluations. I hope it’s a positive outcome. I am scared of this battery gap thing as it has disconnected from my remote even when it was on the ground pre flight.
