Nice work...mine updated fine and I didn't have this issue...I have usb debugging on anyway so I guess this is the reason....it tells you to do that if it isn't on when you fire up the app I believe.

Thankfully, our iPad Air 2 Cellular, never went through this sort of uncomfortable situation. ;-)

Hopefully others on Android will learn your method of correction of that inconvenient glitch.

I just didn't want to use my Ipad Air. Just too big.
