Checking all of my camera settings just noticed a glitch, that must have happened after the recent firmware and Go app updates. Under Anti Flicker choices between Auto, 50Hz and 60Hz. Mine is stuck in 50Hz.
When I tap Auto or 60Hz which is appropriate for North America, It immediately pops back to 50Hz.

Anyone else experiencing this anomaly??

@DJI-Ken, can you folks please see about correcting this error in a future update?

Yes, the RC, app and Phantom 3 are all turned on.
But the setting keeps going back...

I was expecting a reply from HQ...  Perhaps it will be addressed in a future update.

Yes, if we can make them aware of the glitch.  It's most certainly not ony a couple of us.
If more folks would check in their own settings to see if it's a blanket situation.
It would be nice to use the setting appropriate for our location.

Can anyone share what anti flicker is exactly? Be wondering what that's meant for a while...

What was the issue?  I tried to switch mine and it does this too. Does it automatically default?

North America is 60hz.
No, you should be able to set it, unless you put it in Auto.

I've updated to the latest firmware and still can change the setting to 60hz or Auto, stuck on 50hz

Got it figured out, can't change the setting unless you're in "auto" camera mode, won't change if in "manual".

Check your camera settings. Are you in Auto or Manual. Try Auto, then try the Anti Flicker settings.

Make sure your general camera/video setting are set to "AUTO" in order to be able to change this setting from 50 Hz to 60Hz or to "AUTO"

I just tried it on my Phantom 3 Professional and it worked just fine.

Understanding too, there have been atleast a couple of firmware updates since this issue was first discovered. But what you recommend may have been there all along. & quite honestly, My camera is mostly always in Manual control. ;-)

Not to be difficult, but I am a control freak when it involves my drone, Nikon D800, or even just my iPad Air2 cameras.
Mind you, having these awesome miniature spotlights, Lume Cubes now, makes a huge difference where all my cameras are concerned. Ha

If you haven't figured out to change the flicker settings to 60hz, go to auto on camera settings.  Doing this will allow you to switch it from 50hz to 60hz, then go back to manual.  It should stay in 60hz.

just checking, is your video system set to NTSC? Try switching to PAL, set your anti-flickering to anything you want then revert to NTSC
