I don't buy or believe anything on April 1st.  I don't know if it's observed places other than the US but April Fools is annoying.

To be honest, April fools day pisses me off. I used to like it when I was young. I think its so annoying now because like you, I can't believe most things that I see or hear. I am forced to second guess everything. Everyone is trying to be funny. It gets old after a while.

Yep, that is how we used to tilt the camera back when we were using Go Pro cameras.
Like 100 years ago in Drone years.

I cannot see any price reduction on the DJI site

It's for the spares, not accessories. So it's stuff like replacement cameras, controllers and that.

The best value for money still appears to be  just buy the spare drones and you get an extra battery with all the spare parts you could ever want (unless you break the same part twice)..   http://store.dji.com/product/pha ... ler-battery-charger
