Jury is still out on this.

Installed today.  This app immediately crashes as soon as it shows my location on the map.  Samsung Galaxy S5, Android 5.1.1.

I downloaded the app on my Sansung s6 and the app will start but after 3 seconds it says "unfortunately, DJI+ Discover has stopped"

Any one have any answers for this?

When I run the iOS app, in the social section it shows my exact location.

As in someone using the app could come to my front door. I'd like to connect with nearby folks, but give my location as a 10km circle (and not exactly centered on my house.)

If I turn off Location Services for the app, then it won't launch.

So for me, because of privacy, this app isn't going to fly.

Is there a web based version of this available?

You know since moving to apple I have not had any apps crash...

Just be careful -- you'll be meeting strangers with some awfully expensive (and desirable) gear in tow.

Yeah, there's no Nearby tab for us Canucks.
Hopefully that foresight will be updated, with our blessing, soon. ;-)

It already had "Flying Hotspots" in, and no clue how they got there.   Still up in the air on this app.  

Yeah i updated it only because it notified me through email and it looks and operates the same im looking for me wnd anyone. Map you say???werr??

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! SCREW DJI AND THEIR UPDATES! lol in the near future they will only let you fly in your own house MAYBE!!!!

Ok, Malwarebytes and F-Secure both list the download site as unsafe.

What is the process to get listed with DJI as a pilot in the area you live?  This is something I'd love to get in on.  Any info is appreciated.

I thought you were going to end that sentence with a period after the word apps.

App crashes immediately on Android - Google Nexus 7 and HTC One. Not even going to try again, this is kind of ridiculous. Why release without EXTENSIVE testing?? Both of my devices are brand new with nothing on them but the pre-installed apps and DJI apps, that's it, and both of these devices are on your list of compatible devices. Over it--

Just uploaded the app. No nearby option either and I am in the states. What a joke

Downloaded the app, but the experience and nearby icons are not on the bottom.

I don't remember exactly what I did, as it was early in the morning when I just opened my eyes )) But you have to fill in all data, and then it pops up )Same thing happened to me

Give DJI some time, it is just released. Phantom 1 wasn't perfect also ) but 4 is incomparable )be patient my friends

Anyone on android still crashing on launch try restarting your phone I'm on s7 edge and that fixed for me

How do I turn off the location setting. I never agreed to people being able to see where I live. I am disgusted with DJI.

So how do I remove my home address from public record.. I didn't agree or don't upload pictures to skypixel - so assume my cloud flight record details have been used... Massive privacy issue!!

Does the forum and the store have different logins? I don't understand why I can't log in to the forum on the new Discover app, or on any device that I try to visit the forums for the first time, whether through the Discover app, GO app, or through a browser, it says my login information (which I know is not) is wrong.

Do I have to create an account for DJI+? I am trying to login in but it keeps telling me about my password having to be less than 16 characters long, but my DJI password is longer, so it wont let me log in

Not available in my region / area ? What's up with that ?? I can see flying hotspot on there ? How have they been posted

install, run, crash!

Trying it out, but I see no activity worldwide, if I use this it will be nowhere near home as I don't need any uninvited guests
