I was looking at my flight records in DJI Go.  I see the 'Top Altitude' shows as 7054.5 feet.   I've never been over 400.  Is this an error, or am I interpreting it wrong?

I wonder if that is actually "7054.5' ASL" as in Above Sea Level as opposed to AGL.

Nope, pretty sure it is an error, a number of people have reported it. That and the fact that their aircraft has been to Ghana.

I think it is a glitch... Mine says 24k feet.

Yes, I have this error too and I've also flown in Ghana apparently.....!

It is a known issue. We are working for a solution.

This still not fixed, mine is showing 58m top altitude when the actual logs show 120m

How long ago was that flight? Sometimes it takes time for the servers to update.

The Top Altitude of 58m is on 10/05/2016 but there are 7 flights of 120m after that date ranging form 11/05/2016 to 06/07/2016 shown in the actual logs.  

Same bug here. Top altitude seems to be stuck...took several flights over the saved top altitude but nothing happens.

I must be a really careful pilot. My top altitude is 24m.

My top altitude isn't updating either. I've also got a duplicate log of the same aircraft and a log for an aircraft that I don't even own.

They are also stored in your battery.  Mine seem to be correct. Only it does not show max height.

Either flaky software or firmware.  With all the hardware on the bird for altitude (i.e. VPS, sonar, barometer, GPS, etc.) pretty poor performance for altitude numbers showing in GO and why I don't believe much of what it reports or shows.

Air Pressures can change rapidly. In any case even aircraft costing hundreds of millions of dollars also need to be calibrated.  You have a drone that costs how much?  Well that is if you found it?

True on the barometer part, but how do you explain the VPS cameras and sonar discrepancies both?

My cheap $20 tape measure uses sonar and comes within inches.  I would think the drone should be capable of that on landing using it and not off by 50 feet as it is often showing now.

Bad implementation of its hardware and redundancy somewhere.

Yes. It shows altitude at launch not the max altitude flown.

You need to look at the VPS on the bottom to see the height.. Mine is extremely accurate. The barometer is only for estimates.. Once you are with a certain range of the ground, the VPS and sonar record height accurately.

Also, you may need to calibrate the sensors.
