Any chance you reset your home position to the phone, and perhaps phone gps was not initialized 100% yet? I have seen my P3 try to fly off to a cell tower (assume) using a follow me mode.....
I agree with Mtsipila, upload to healthydrones (free account). It should tell you when the home position changed, and maybe even why.
