hI,

I have been using the Osmo with my
Samsung S6, but it keeps going in to
black and white and freezing the screen live feed.

I have tried different phones, reseting it, making sure
everything was correctly fitted.

But nothing works, after i take a photo or shoot
a video, a second or 2 later the Osmo drops the wireless
signal and i have to keep waiting for about 1 or 2 minutes
for the live screen in colour to come back on.

It is so frustrating and it is not a good look when
your customers start seeing the problems you
are having.

I have updated all firmware to the current.
OSMO - 1.6.2.10
DJI GO APP - 2.8.0 (293)
CAMERA - 02.65.50.33
GIMBAL - 01.29.00.92
WIFI - 01.00.09.48

DJI could you please help me out with a solution
to this Osmo problem.

My last question is can i put in a micro usb plug
in to the Osmo's micro usb slot in the camera head
and then put the other end with a micro usb plug in
to the phones usb slot.
That way the Osmo would not have to drop the
wireless connection because it would always be
plugged in because ive attached a cable.

I don't understand why it keeps dropping the signal
when the Osmo and phone are so close to each other.

Thank You for any help, anbd let me know if you think
I should send it back to my supplier for checking the hardware
and software.

Ive only had the Osmo for a couple weeks and i also bought
an Inspire 1 Pro at the same time thinking they would make
a good pair for doing real estae properties etc.

Thanking You
Cheers Kev Borg

Hello!
The bad connection between the Osmo and the DJI GO App may be caused the WiFi signal interference. You can change to 5.8GHz if your Samsung S6 support 5.8GHz WiFi. While connecting to the Osmo WiFi, you'd better turn off the Internet WiFi if the interference is very strong. Or you can change to another place to have a try.
Make sure your phone has enough memory to run the DJI GO App of your whole operation with the Osmo.

As for the micro-USB port on the camera of the Osmo, please be informed that it's only for connecting to your PC to download the original files in the SD card.
The only way to connect the Osmo to the mobile device is thru the Osmo WiFi.

If you have the DJI Go4 app installed, you really need to force quit it. Or else, both apps will mess with each other connection. This is for real, it happened with me for 2 months and I was getting really frustrated.. Force quited the app that I wasnt using and the one I used worked perfectly from that momment on!

Good Luck, KiwiKev.

This happens and is happening  to a ton of people.....It is not you. They will ultimately ask you to send it in, and force you to pay $150 for a new motherboard which was poorly made in the first place. This has happened to me, and many others.

Be wary...even if you are covered by the warranty, as I was, they still still force you to pay for a new one to replace their bad one that went into so many bad OSMO's.....so be prepared for that.

If you refuse, they will just send you back your broken OSMO and tell you to kick rocks.
