Hello!
Please take a look at the Ronin-M User Manual, in P11-P12, there's some guidelines about the camera.
About balancing the camera, please refer to the tutorial video strictly, it does take some time to get the camera balanced, please take your time.
Please find the tutorial videos and more in http://www.dji.com/product/ronin-m/info#video
It's a counter weight system. If your camera is front heavy (a C100 with a zoom lens will be) you need to add those weights to the back of the Ronin camera mount to counter weight it.
It simply attaches to the rear of the mount plate. You add as much as you need to balance the camera.

is there an example i can see?
https://www.instagram.com/p/BEpI2WWhCYk/ thats my gear there, down the gimbal, where it says "max p-tap output 3A" i stick velcro in it, an my "Weight" is a wireless video transmiter (Tp-link Mr3040)
I've been using the Canon C100 with Canon EF 24mm 2,8 IS lens eithout any problems to balance.
Haven't used other lenses because of the weight=>flight time.
With p-tap connector and a small voltage regulator I've been able to leave out the C100's own battery and gained some additonal flight yime as well.
