One of the most useful things I ever bought was something like this...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BESTEK ... :g:faEAAOSwKfVXKxkV

(I have no connection with the vendor - just a random search so I can't vouch for this model or anything - it's just similar to what I have)

This one is for the UK market but I'm sure if you search for a power inverter in your country you'll find something similar.

It converts your 12v socket in the car into a 120/240v ac outlet where you can charge anything you need.  It's limited, you can't run lights off it but for charging battery packs it's ideal. It's not even particularly heavy!

Thanks, I will try it. OSMO charger on output has 12V so I thought that is any cable.

If only things would be that simple. Sometimes I wonder if manufacturers are not doing this on purpose, so consumers have to buy like a million accessories to be able to use the products in different ways. What is less understandable is how come you can't easily find and buy these things when needed. End of rant... my apologies.

Inverter will also let you charge your laptop too! ;)
Maybe grab one that is 500w or more. Pure sine wave is supposed to be better for your electrics.

Hello.
Generally, we would recommend using any 3rd party accessories with DJI Osmo in case of any possible damage to DJI Products.

To get a longer lifetime of the Osmo, please look for more information about the external battery Extender which also supports the car charger: http://store.dji.com/product/osmo-external-battery-extender
You can contact our sales representatives at onlinesales@dji.com for the details.

For any other concern, please let me know anytime.

Just got this off ebay.

Seems to work well.  Batteries seem to last about as long as oem.  You will also need a high current 12v to usb adapter like this:
