Steve, sorry I don't know solution, but have similar problem. My firmware update actually started to work, and got to 93% before it hung up. I left it run for an hour, but it never completed. Also tried to update remote controller, but it did not start the firmware update.
Am now getting a status message "Firmware not compatible, please update the firmware."
I would like to force it to do a firmware update, without the automatic dji app prompt, but do not know how to do that.
