Check your version of the DJI Go app to see if your iOS update set it back to a prior version. Check iTunes to see if it detects an update for the DJI Go app.

Tip: iOS updates are not going to revert your craft's firmware version.

You can get it back by removing and then reinstalling the DJO Go App. Make sure you sync your flights with the cloud first if you need to keep them

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.It is a known issue and we are working for a solution.

I can confirm that the problem isn't with just 2.8.2.  I have problems with 2.80 also.  I tried my Samsung S5(2.8.0) and will go No Signal and sometimes it will go back.  The verbage is a bit different on 2.8.2(my Ipad Air 2) If I remember and either get  Weak Signal Transmission or No Signal Transmission.  I was originally on firmware 1.6 earlier today.  I tried 1.7 and then 1.8 and still have a video problem.  The problem comes and goes.  I'll lose video for several seconds and then it may come back for a few.

I have Go App ver 2.3.0 on my old work iPad yet.  Even with firmware 1.8 and this old Go App 2.3, it will still fly. You get video yet but all the flight statistic & gauges are gone.  I could not get the video to fail with 2.3.0.  

Please fix.

Something is clearly wrong with 2.8.0 & 2.8.2.  

I went for a flight with 2.8.x the other day in an empty park, flew it around 300-500M away, lost signal way earlier than expected (Windsurfer mod), but when the drone went into RTH, even when it was around 50 metres away the DJI app never re-established signal which was worrying.  However the drone was still responding to the control sticks etc.  I downgraded to 2.6 last night and might have another go over the weekend to see if the issue goes away.  P3 standard on older firmware.

How did you downgrade the GoApp to 2.6.    I'm currently at 2.8.2.

It seems that the new Go app version is affecting both the P3 & P4s

Try going through all of your settings again. They may have been reset during the update.

I experienced the issue with 2.8.1.

RHP, I just upgraded my DJI Go installation to 2.8.2, but I still have 2.7k in the video settings.  I verified that it was 2.8.2 on the device from within the app on my FPV device (not iTunes).

My problem eas different and never experienced before. On switching one the remote control an alarm was heard. The display showed radio quality poor. It needed to have recalibrated. Once that done, everything was fine and I still have the HD recording capability.

Yeah, depends on your download, got mine straightened away.
I noticed also, in the camera menu, they added colors for the centre point. I like that, better than plain black. ;-)

Someone on PhantomPilots posted that a second 2.8.2 was posted..  Anyone from DJI confirm that and if it fixes the issues folks are seeing?

I fortunately hadn't backed up my phone in a while, so an older copy (v2.6) of the .ipa file was sitting in my iTunes mobile applications folder on my PC.
You just delete the newer app off your phone, plug it in, and drag the 2.6 version back to the phone.  Was a bit fiddly as iTunes doesn't make it an obvious process, but I managed to google a guide with screenshots.  Haven't tried flying since the downgrade due to high winds and lack of time.

I had the same problem...after the latest iOS update the 2.7k feature disappeared from the DJI Go app. After some research, I just deleted the app (after backing up my data to the cloud) and reinstalled it and my 2.7k capabilities were restored!

It's a known issue. A patched version will be live soon.

Did a test flight with the older 2.6 app and my issue with communication loss not being restored went away.  I'm still on the older P3S firmware, one generation behind.  Will stick with this combo for now unless forced out of it.  Range still seems good.  

IOS 2.8.3 now available. One of the release notes says "fixed an issue whch may cause Phantom 4 transmission loss". Would love to hear from anyone who tries it to see if it also affects P3's
