1. Fixed issue of temporary Vision Positioning System sensor error on rare occasions for some aircrafts.

Notes:


Aircraft version v1.9.1.30 and camera version v1.8.1.00 should be displayed in DJI GO. The version will only display correctly in DJI GO after connecting to the Internet when upgrade is complete.

The firmware can only be downgraded to v1.8.1.00 or later.

It seems the Aircraft Version and the Camera Version shown in the Inspire 1 Pro Release Notes are wrongly printed.

It printed:-
Camera version v1.9.1.30 and aircraft version v1.9.1.10  should be displayed in DJI GO .

mine shows after several "upgrades" 1.9.1.10+, 2.8.4 deleted / rebooted / reinstalled still same !

On Android, latest version 2.8.2

Redownloaded update and inserted it, booted it up, turned it off. Looked at the log, it said firmware already up to date. So I assume it is updated to 1.9.1.30, I was also able to see the small update in the hidden log file which showed that the VPS received a small update.

But why does it not say 1.9.1.30 as aircraft version in the app?

Hmmm... I've updated to 1.9.1.30 successfully, and I get:

Normal (latest firmware)
Aircraft: 1.9.1.10+  (note the +)
Camera: 1.9.1.10

I'm connected to the Internet.

I'm wonder if this is exactly the same as the internal firmware.  I'm running the internal firmware and also see 1.9.1.10+.  I know it will take this update because I'd be going from 1.9.1.21 to 1.9.1.30.

It happens from time to time on newly updated FW. No need to upgrade again if your .txt file says success. Just fly and eventually the + sign will disappear and display 1.9.1.30

The release notes for the Inspire 1 Pro and Raw appear to have the correct camera firmware version indicated:

If you're referring to Paladin's post, he's referring to the Inspire 1 with the X3 camera. If you have the Inspire 1 Pro, then you appear to be fine.

I just tried updating internal firmware 1.9.1.21 to 1.9.1.30 and it aborts.  It seems it's exactly the same firmware if I'm correct.

You need to downgrade your internal FW to 1.8 first. Then you can upgrade to the new FW 1.9.1.30  (you know why I know this )

Have upgraded from 1.9.01.21 to 1.9.01.30 today - the upgrade went well (had to downgrade to 1.8 first but that was expected.)

I also swapped a CW motor that was running tight and hot - after swapping I had to upgrade again (probably to upgrade that motors esc)

Please help, My Inspire 1 is not seeing the 1.9.01.21 update. my iPad did update to 2.8.4. The controller is at 1.6 and the aircraft is at 1.8.1.00. The aircraft is ignoring the update file as is the remote. Ive tried with the controller off and on and on two different micro cards. Updates have never gone smoothy, but they always initiate.

Ideas anyone?
PS- there is no text file on the card

UPDATE

Out flying - no issues - promising

Today I flew out my 6 batts on last FW and GoApp, everything looks ok except old issues: camera hangs up and main controller data error-data recorder errors, on monday my I1P goes to support.
PS. Corrercted Inspire_1_Pro_Product_Release_Notes_en_160708 released

Doh......I was hoping both versions were the same. I was trying to justify not downgrading and re-upgrading.  Looks like I need to do the SD card dance again

    Updated with success this morning here in Southern California. After an IMU calibration, it flew great. no issues flying 5 batteries in a 2-hour period.

I solved my problem. I redownloaded the file from the dpi site and everything is going well.

DJI R&D staff replied me by email confirmed that my Inspire 1 Pro had been upgraded successfully - implying that the codes in both FW v1.9.1.21 and FW v1.9.1.30 are identical. My Inspire 1 Pro was showing version 1.9.1.30 in DJI GO App although it was only upgraded with the "Internal Firmware" v1.9.1.21.

You don't need to downgrade and upgrade if your aircraft is showing FW v1.9.1.30.

Sorry for the confusion, per Henry Mo-Yung you do not need to downgrade. Please disregard what I posted and see Henry's information above.
(I did not know that .21 and .30 were the same)

I did not know this information at the time I was changing my Inspire 1 V2 X3.

Updated DJI App inspire 1 + 3 Batterys this morning as normal not a single glitch. upgrade took about 2 minutes with each battery
