Since the gimbal allows me to point it above the horizontal, is there a way when the bird is in the air to set it to horizontal?  (I use this to see when I am at the top of something, and would hate to be below and then fly forward!)

Thanks

Bruce

Hi Bruce.  If you're talking about not knowing if the camera is exactly horizontal, because all the GO App shows you is a red dot off to the right with "tick marks", then there is no other way to determine it that I know of.  All you can do is move it until it somewhat lines up with the red dot.  At least with camera yaw, you can set your C2 button to reset it back to center.

I often do the same when I am unsure of clerances due to depth perception restrictions.
As GabeZ mentioned, the horizontal index mark is red. The others appear to be 10 degree incriments.
As long as the indicator is blue and covering the red mark you are within 3 degrees of horizontal.

+/- 3 of horizontal

+/- 3 of horizontal

I could be wrong (usually am), but pretty sure reset gimbal just resets the YAW and not the PITCH.  Am I wrong???

Thanks!
And Gimbal reset only affects Yaw. Not pitch.

We really need a way to reset pitch.... I wish I could set C2 to reset both  yaw and pitch.  I use c1 to switch to yaw.
