Myself and more than a few other Phantom pilots have noticed GPS dropping for 1 second or less during flight.  This is very concerning and may impact many aspects of flight control and return to home.  It seems to have begun with the last Go app update.

Any word on this - I'm grounded until I'm confident it won't drop out of the sky or wander off.  Only had it for 3 weeks.  

Had the same problem once, just that GPS went from 20 sats to 0, and never came back. Had to fly visually back to where I was, 20% battery and nearly didn't make it.
Frightening.

To clarify, what firmware do you currently on and whether you have performed an IMU calibration after the update? What kind of areas are you flying in?

I'm on the latest firmware - I always upgrade when prompted.  IMU calibration is good.  Flying above trees or straight LOS, it doesn't seem to matter. It's definitely not limited to just me.  Check my Phantom post below where you'll see additional reports of GPS drops out.

For the record, it's not noticed until you review the flight log.  When watching playback, the screen goes grey and says No GPS with Sats showing 0.  It last for only a second or less and then returns to normal.  Seems to be an issue with the last release of the Go app for iOS.  I don't believe the aircraft is really loosing GPS but it's best to know for sure.  I would hate to have the home point reset mid-flight or the craft just fly off uncontrolled.
