Can anyone tell me if an iPAD application based on the Mobile SDK (NOT the iPAD groundstation) can communicate with the flight controller via the DJI Datalink module instead of via the remote controller?
I assume the only reason to connect the mobile device to the dji remote controller is to facilitate the wireless link. Since I don't have a DJI remote controller but I do have the DJI Datalink including the bluetooth module, I was wondering if this can be used as well to establish communication between drone and mobile app.

The older 2.4 GHz Datalink is not able to use any form of SDK. The new Datalink Pro would be able to integrate with SDK units such as the A3 and the M600.

What about datalink pro? Is it possible to use android application base on mobile SDK and communicate with the A3 flight controller via Datalink Pro instead of remote controller? In this case, can I perform autonomous tasks on the flight platform through android via datalink pro?
