Good Day,

I have bought a DJI Osmo Battery Extender to use the Phantom 4 battery with my DJI Osmo.
Today i tried to run the Osmo by using the battery extender but after a second of starting up, the Osmo shuts down and only the right led stays on in red (also used the DJI Phantom 4 power supply, and same thing happens).

The current version is v1.6.2.10 so i have the latest one.

How can i solve this?
I also tried to email support@dji.com but i immediately get a message failure so that won't work either...

I am a user of Osmo and X5R Camera.
The initial test was just fine with Osmo Battery Extender and battery for Inspire 1.
However, I got a problem after days. It was second time for using Osmo Battery Extender.
Nothing comes up. No LED light, No movement of the gimbal.

My Osmo is just fine to work with using internal battery.

The firmware version is 1.1.0.10 (X5R)

Can you send me a link or file for hot fixed firmware?

I also have an OSMO RAW at 1.1.0.10 with battery extender not working now. What is the best way to get the BETA to have it working again please?

Yeah, about three guys responded my emails and said the issue is solved, others I assume it's solved too because they didn't respond to me.  Very sorry about your case

Things happen. As long as I am not going to be responsible for costs of repair (as Osmo worked fine before battery extender for almost a year), I am not going to be a drama queen on that one. Yet I am not sure why you still not releasing that FW as a number of users affected continue to grow.

I just purchased the Osmo RAW (along with an Inspire) and I'm also having issues with battery extender.  I just updated the firmware on the osmo/x5raw to the 8/28 version and it's still not working.  Can you send beta firmware / fix please.

I just received 2 more battery extenders in the mail an hour ago thinking that maybe mine was a fluke and "NO ONE at DJI had a clue about this and I just tested on my 2 Osmo , one standard and one X5 and nothing.

We are having the same problem with the osmo power cable, no response and a red light. Battery works fine.

I have the same issue with my Osmo running on Firmware v1.6.2.10.  It shuts down and the right led stays on in when extended battery is used on external power (C4S90-4 (Phantom 4 Car Charger) or (PH4C100 (Phantom 4 - 100W Charger).

Hi, for Osmo Raw, please simply upgrade to the latest firmware, you can find it here http://www.dji.com/zenmuse-x5s/info#downloads

Is this issue resolved with the newest firmware (v1.8.2.40)?  I was about to buy the battery extender and a phantom 3 power supply to use with my original Osmo, just wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any problems.
