My setup is a M600 with MX gimbal.  I'm wondering if it's possible to connect my DSLR to the LB "HDMI" port cable, and a GoPro or similar FPV camera's Analog AV output into the "AV" port on the LB2, and run PIP.

I need to be able to have FPV for the M600, while my second camera opperator tilts and zooms with the MX gimbal. I'd rather not have to add a Connex for my gimbal feed, and run the gopro into the lightbridge.

Is the PIP feature only capable on the Zenmuse gimbals since they plug into the LB2's "Gimbal" port instead of the other two?

Can the G- and G+ be used as analog inputs on the "Gimbal" port if need be?

You can follow the diagram for PIP on page 64 of the M600 manual:

So it would appear, by the explanation on page 64, that this is indeed possible. That being said, I will give it a try when the AV port cable arrives and I can solder a Go-Pro or other FPV cam video signal cable to it.

Thanks, and viewers of this thread, stay tuned.

Thanks, I will definitely post replies with pictures and possibly a video of this feature. Having a separate video feed for pilot and cam-op is key.

Can anyone tell me were to get the AV connector so I can hook up an analog video to the LB2 port? I have been using HDMI but would like to try the AV output. Part number or a link would be great.

It's the second to the last cable in the picture:

I ordered this from Digikey, using the long wires made up my cable  for the AV input
The only problem I am having is switching between cameras.  Either one works or the other.

I think the AV connector on LB2 is:

JST SM03B-GHS-TB

It is a three pin connector that is very hard to find when searching for LB2 connectors.  Four pin versions are much easier to find, so I took a 4-pin version and shaved it down to 3-pin version using a Dremel tool (very carefully - it's easy to shave too much).  I currently use that shaved-down version to connect the LB2 to a RunCam camera and it works great.   My suggestion on the part number of the AV connector (JST SM03B-GHS-TB) is only an educated guess based on the confirmed part number of the 4-pin version, JST SM04B-GHS-TB, which I found on the Gremsy gimbal website.  Gremsy sells cables for the M600 and identifies the part numbers for the connectors.

This is the right connector (series). Look for the 3-pin version.
