America became a laughing stock when they laughed at and smeared Ron Paul, the only politician you had speaking sense and truth.
Regarding the actual topic of prices, here in Malaysia we have a 100% tax on imported cars, even higher for luxury cars. My Ford truck and my wife's Toyota car were literally the cost of having to buy 2 trucks and 2 cars. I believe Thailand suffers the same. I think that rather puts it in perspective when you have to pay an extra $50 or so for a luxury such as a flying camera ;)
I was happy to see how crazy expensive an iPhone is, anywhere, as it makes me feel better about blowing $500 on said camera lol
Must point out though, when the comparison is made to Apple products, didn't I hear somewhere that Apple were investing in DJI? Or is that just a rumor? Lemme google it..

Yep, partners.
And no, I DO NOT use Apple products, not any more. My iPad Air was entirely useless for anything (though ironically it WOULD be useful for this drone, but I politely gave it back to the person who gave it as a gift, as I had no use for a tablet of such limited ability). My MacBook Pro has a seized hard drive and I've never used an iPhone. So no, don't go lumping me in with Apple users
(If it helps any, I absolutely loathe my Samsung S6 Android phone...)
UPDATE: As I bought this thing for a road trip around Iceland I'm disappointed to see it needs it's own non-standard charger. OK, so how much is a car charger, I can grab one in Dubai...? $85!!??
Yeah, I can see why this appeals to Apple owners...
