I realized  that Osmo Mobile doesnt support 4K video resolution!?!?!?!

yes i have noticed the same thing, i have the note 7. it is supported with the IOS phones but not with android. When i contacted dji about it they gave me some cockamany BS about their trying to get samsung to fix it on their end! i told them they shoulve made that know BEFORE i purchased mine! in fact i did contact them before my purchase and they told me what i would not be able to do and that wasnt one of them! Sucks

Same here. WHY THE HELL there is 4K resolution missing? 60p is missing as well. Just bought Osmo Mobile and I think they are just kidding? When I use built in camera app (by Samsung) to shoot in 4K or 60p, buttons on Osmo are not working. So how to shoot in 4K??

You're right that's BS, there's nothing for Samsung to fix, other 3rd party apps can record 4k no problem on the Note 7. It really kills me that they sell a device to use with mobile phones and give such poor support to Android which powers 86% of phones worldwide. I think it's just lazy developers because iOS is easier cuz it is the same on every device and Android they have to tweak the app for different versions.

Exactly. With FilmicPro (3rd party app) I am able to shoot 4K on Samsung mobile without problems.

Very sorry about this, this is a DJI Go app issue, 4K shooting option will be added soon.

Do we know when this is going to happen because this is frustrating the hell out of me?
I want to use trackng and the features that the DJI Go app allow me to to. At the moment its just an expensive gimbal that can do one thing for us Samsung users

Found this out also the hard way after spending an hour or so filming. When can we expect an update?

4k is out for Android now. Update your app.

4k is not on all Android phones yet, just tried on an LG G4 and still no 4k option, only 1080p.

samsung S6 sem 4K {:4_154:}

It's on S7 Edge now.

Cool, everything works now, I have 4K and can save everything to the SD card on my galaxy S7
You have to follow the instructions and let it create its own directory on the SD card !

Hi Dji. Thanks for 4k update on the Dji Go app for the osmo mobile.

Can you update on the option for 1080p 60fps option for s7 edge? It has it in the original camera app but would need it on the dji go app to fully utilize it. 60 fps will make the video movement smoother and easier for editing. Pls update. Thanks.

Still not working on the Samsung S6.  1080p is the highest resolution it can do, whereas the phone can video in 4K.

I´m upsed too. Waiting since months for the 4k resolution on Samsung galaxy S6. For HD S6  the image stabilisation is cheaper and well enough!

I have 4K video on the S7 Edge, however not when using motion timelapse, which I think is pretty unacceptable. Particularly as my friend with an iphone 7+ recorded with motion timelapse in 4K - Samsung phones have had 4K video recording since 2013, Apple only got 4K video recording last year, yet Samsung phones are missing 4K for timelapse!

When I asked the DJI Support they told me my friend was lying and that iphone can't record motion timelapse in 4K... which was just odd as he sent me the raw file as proof...

In all honesty, the S7 has issues with stuttery FHD60 recording (North American variants separately) so I don't think you'd want that... but yes, the delay it took to get 4K was totally unacceptable.

Got S6 edge, still no 4K!

Has the situation got any better now that it's halfway through 2017? I have the Note 4, Note 5 and S5 and I'm so ready to drop $300, I only need to know if it works.

Hey DJI... when are you going to add 4k to Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge and the latest phones? Why you prefer iOS devices with less capabilities?
Probably I shall return my Osmo Mobile and buy from another manufacturer...
