Hi, I'm new to this site and to drones, just ordered the mavic and what I'd like to know is what editing software you use to make your videos? Do Dji have there own software you can download like GoPro do?

The DJI app does indeed have some primitive video editing tools that may satisfy your needs.

But asking what video editing software is best is like asking "what beer tastes best"?  It's a very broad subject.  It completely depends on what your intended end result is.  You can spend thousands on Pro level editing tools.  If you want to move beyond the free DJI tools that come with the DJI app...  And you are not wanting to spend money...  I would suggest the very powerful DAVINCI RESOLVE 12.5.

https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/edit

It's completely free and it professional level editing software.

Otherwise Adobe Premiere is the "Standard" for many people.  http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere.html

If you are looking at free open source video editing with pro level capability I suggest Blender:  https://www.blender.org

Hope that helps.

Best advice you can get if this is your first drone or first DJI drone wad the manual and set up guides more than once, don't get it out of the box when it arrives and fly
