Is it an Osmo? Did you get the picture from the SD card? Go to the setting, and set the setting to default and try again.     If it is still there, please contact support@dji.com to send in your unit for an exchange. Thank you.

Yes Osmo. All settings are correct. These are single frame exports from Final Cut Pro X. All the setings are correct.

Signle frame exports from Final Cut? You have wrong settings in Final Cut pro! Problem with framerate resampling causes ghosting. You need to have 23,97 fps timeline when pasting 23,97 material.

What do freeze-frames of the original footage look like in QuickTime Player? i.e. Run QT with the original footage and hit 'pause'.

FPS in FCPX timeline is correct because I drop the clip in and it sets the FPS based on the first clip.

This question is akin to the old "Is it plugged in?"... but, what was your shutter speed?  If you are at 1/30th second shutter, your motion will have blurring which could possibly read as ghosting.
