Brand new Inspire after first flight:
If I activate Travel mode (by App or by togeling the landing gear Switch 4x) it rises Landing gear and emediately lower it again by itself....

Definitely a surface issue, carpet even if fine pile can affect its capability. Move the machine to a totally different surface, unplug the machines battery, leave it and reconnect. Hopefully should sort it.

You have to toggle the switch faster. The slight pause in-between won't register as 4 up and down movements needed to put it in travel mode

it's the same if i enter travel mode via app...so this cant be the Problem...

It is your surface. I have this with certain types.

I had a similar problem with mine as I was trying to go into travel mode while holding the inspire off the ground. It doesn't like that and doesn't know when to stop raising its legs and keeps going until the legs are in the fully up position. It needs to have its legs on the ground ie a flat surface to sense when to stop its legs at the travel position.  

The easiest way to resolve this is to stand your Inspire on its case and then enter/exit travel mode. This works every time regardless of whether you use the app or push the landing gear up and down 4 times...

I do not agree - It's what I have done just after taking the attached Video and the result was exactly the same...

Same problem here, the inspire is very picky with the surface.
Half my flight trips I have to bring it home in my car on the passenger
Seat and do the transforming at home.

I tried a sheet of paper on the ground where the sonar is but no
Success.  From where I see it the problem is also the little hops
and jumps the inspire makes during entering travel mode
When on a rough underground.


A possible solution would be to have the inspire to
go to a predefined position you calibrated before on flat ground.

Could an admin forward such an idea/solution to the programmers?

Same issue here. No idea how to solve it.
