Using an iPad air 2 in bright sunlight and even on a cloudy day, I'm having trouble seeing the screen image in both Map and camera mode.  Any ideas about what to do.  I've turned up the screen brightness to max, still the image is difficult to see.    Is there another device that has a clean bright visual of what the camera sees.   Goggles or android?

Do you have the same issue when looking the screen in the dark (or inside) ?

I think this is just a limitation of viewing tablets in daylight. The Inspire video of Jamie Savage shows him using hoods. I'm guessing these are hand made, as I can't find any on the interweb.  

The Nvidia is an 8" tablet and most hoods are 7". Its also go to go around the bracket somehow. Well DJI, I think there is a market here for you, if you want to create a universal tablet hood for the Inspire handset.

I use the satin finish typ screen protect stop all the reflective glare and a sun hood

I just got one of those for my iPad Air 2 from Amazon yesterday. Piece of junk., doesn't fit tightly, flops around, too heavy, and prevents iPad from fitting securely into holder on controller. That's my opinion. It's going back to Amazon.

EDIT: There's no port (hole) for the cable going from the iPad to the controller.

Do you have the filter installed on the camera?  I took mine off and put on the clear cover.  Really made a difference.

The Filter is not the issue. He is suffering from glare. He needs the Hoodie.

The clear cover is a filter for UV Haze. It will make a big difference.
