The Samsung 7 offers this great wide angle from Sansung and I was wondering how to use it along with the Gimbal..  At first I was able to counter-balance the phone enough to allow shooting with the wide angle on, but then part of the image was obstructed by the front motor.

The solution was to litterally FLIP the phone around and use the gimble the way I show on the photo. Part of the screen is obstructed of course but you can still compose your shots and start/end recording with the gimbal buttons. Best of all, NO RE-BALANCING is necessary (at least with the S7 Edge), I just screw on the lens, flip the phone, and voila, it works!!

Well, it looks like the left one third of the screen is blocked.

This method is better. You can put the S7 Edge with the lens on normal orientation. Just add some Velcro'd counterweight like the video.

I'm also having a problem with my motor showing with my fisheye lens.

I was Hoping for another solution as flipping the phone isn't an option for me, as I film skateboarding and having the screen obstructed is a no go.
