With a March 20th release date on Amazon, does anyone know why Amazon is not receiving any inventory from DJI because Amazon representatives do NOT know. Amazon directed me to contact DJI. DJI in turn told me they cannot answer questions about a retail store's inventory. I am apparently stuck in an infinite loop unless someone in this forum can help

You keep telling yourself that.  I think you'll find that their definition of shipped is different from yours.  They are not going to guarantee delivery by the same date (18th) all over the world as that is clearly out of their hands once the logistics company becomes in involved.  In logistics, "shipped" just means leaving the supplier's warehouse.  I've been doing it for over 20 years so I should know.  Unfortunately to DJI, however, it also means sitting in their warehouse either waiting to be picked (that just means taking it off a shelf/out of a bin and readying it for dispatch) or waiting for the logistics company to pick it up.

If I haven't got a tracking number by the 18th then I'll be really annoyed but as far as I'm concerned they have not gone against their advertisement yet.

DJI I have a couple questions. I ordered the Mavic, and an extra battery. If the battery isn't available, will they hold the Mavic until it is? (2) Asked this before but have to ask again. My understanding is I have to purchase Care Refresh within 48 hours of registration. Even if I wait a couple of months till spring before registering it, I can still get Care Refresh as long as it's with in the 48 hours of the registration. Is this correct?

They started my care today ... and I don't even have a SHIPPING NUMBER? So I will definitely be wasting days. Would love a response to this question.

yeah I need to contact them also as shipment is delay by custom and look like I don't get it until Monday  so I am out 5 days for it.  Every country it land I have an unexpected clearance delay, and I should have mine on Thursday.  DHL

If there anyone who wants one right away, there is a seller on kijiji selling the fly more combo for 1750$ Canadian. All you have to do is ask the seller to ship it FedEx and request to pay COD. That's a crazy deal, that works out to 1315$ US. I payed 2220$ Canadian for fly more combo plus I got a extra battery with it, so I got 4 batteries in total.

Is it worth of or will I just get the same info "Pending" in other/more words?

The 4th blue dot seems to be not true. I already have it and they said in chat that it will ship 31st. DJI-Ken, can you confirm this? I was told it will ship very soon....

Yes, some of it is out of whack, but some is justified. It was supposed to be first come first server, but there are people who ordered in December and aren't getting shipping status update while people who ordered on Jan 6th have their drones already. Everyone is just jumpy because DJI hasn't exactly excelled in delivering on their promises so far.

Those are the people I agree should be complaining.  Thats kind of my point.  A person complaining because they ordered 1/7 and got shipping message 1/10 and didn't have the tracking yet is beyond crazy.

This isn't necessarily true. I ordered the 5th and had mine in hand in Texas on the 11th. Mavic only.

Received an email promising delivery by Jan 18.  Order immediately placed and payment confirmed Jan 5th.  Still on dot "3" "Payment Success"... Doesn't look good for promised delivery date...

Update:

This morning my order shows "Shipped" but no tracking yet.  Waiting the 24-48 hours for the tracking number to show up.  There's a slight chance they might make their promised delivery date of the 18th.. We'll see.....

Just cancelled my order and purchased from digitalrev.com, for me in the U.K the fly more combo is the same price and had confirmation it will arrive Tuesday! DJI is terrible!

Yeah I got plymore combo and care refresh and total come to $1900 Canadian so I save almost $200 on it compare to bestbuy.

Hey guys. I got a fourth blue dot today, 1/13/17...Friday the 13th. There is, however, no tracking number yet. I don't think one will show any time soon. I have been following this thread for quite sometime and I have seen many different outcomes. The only consistency is inconsistency. I was checking the DJI Store iOS App for my status updates, but figured I would check through my computer, which I have done occasionally. The computer based website had the fourth blue dot....Yes!.... The app still had "pay confirmed" and shipping "pending", but I noticed at the bottom a "button" that said "TRACK" that I could not press, even though I tried to press it repeatedly, appeared. I had not seen that "button" yesterday. So I am thinking that the fourth blue dot has something to do with the button appearing in the app. Also, I believe that in some cases units are moving without tracking numbers being updated, probably due to the volume of units being shipped, or more non-sense from DJI. Anyway, I will continue to watch and see if I get any updates. Just to add to the database, I placed my order Dec.21,2016. I payed through Paypal on Jan.10,2017, my payment confirmed within minutes, but in my bank account the charge stayed "pending" for two days, then went through. I think that did not matter to DJI as I use a credit union and I believe that is just how their system shows it. So, today, Jan.13,2017, I got my "shipped" fourth blue dot, with no tracking yet. I know everybody is tired of this run around. I'll post again if I see a tracking number, or if the Mavic just shows up. Hang in there fellas.

how many days after TAKING the money from the bank/credit card, did it take for the mavic to actually ship? It's been three days for me since  money was taken, yet still stuck on 3rd dot.

My bank acct was pending the 10th and 11th, then went "out" on the 12th, and got my fourth blue dot, today the 13th.
