limited to first 50 customers, but below that says pre-orders.  not sure what to make of this.  but i did just order three of them.  let's see how it goes.

Might be worth a try because this damn Amazon order doesn't seem to be shipping anytime this year.

The 'limited time offer' flag seems to pop up every once in a while, I don't think anyone is sure what (if anything) it really means.  

I have a pending pre-order made several weeks ago (and I'm probably in very good company of many hundreds of others) so I wouldn't count on anyone ordering today to get anything within 4-10 days, unless thay have a massive shipment coming in and can service all the prior orders in addition to current within that time. Very doubtful, but here's to dreaming...

ahh...looks like it's too good to be true.  just curious, did you get an email that said
"Please allow 1 - 3 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. "

Yep, thats probably the default email. My order status still says Order Verification.

The website is definitely misleading with that right now. Someone not following this debacle would be pretty annoyed when they find out the truth, probably not as annoyed as we already are. Maybe limited time means they decided not to produce anymore, haha.

what's bugging me is part that says Priority Delivery Limited to First fifty customers.  That seems very specific to me, like it's enticing the customer to buy it on the spot expecting timely delivery.  so...again not sure what to make of this.  I guess you can interpret it as saying once they start shipping, the first 50 will get priorty delivery. which seems pointless, since you would have already waited x amount of weeks already.  Imagine a customer that waited 8 weeks for their mavic, but it's ok they get priority delivery.  Anyway, i placed an order for the both the combo and standalone.  let's so how this goes.

Mine too. That's just the default response and means nothing. The reality is that you're going to be very lucky to even see something by the end of December, no matter what the verbiage on the web site or your order confirmation says.

I think that limited to the first 50 people has been there since the release, it was there when I ordered too.

The only plus with Newegg is it appears that you are purchasing through DJI but won't be charged until it ships and no foreign transaction fees. I also think that fact is why some people that ordered early off from Newegg got their Mavics already when many other retailer orders never did.

that's true.  well i'll wait a couple of days, if there are no updates i'm just going to cancel.

I ordered on the 29th and later got an in stock email from Newegg on 11/3.

  I ordered a xtra Mavic battery from them (Newegg) today after seeing the "in stock" and shipping time 4 to10 days. But then after I already ordered I started reading the fine details and I seen below where it says "in-stock"  that it states  "sold and shipped by DJI official store"   In my head I could hear screeching tires, a explosion then glass shattering!!! Lol     Like you I will wait a few days, maybe a week, then I pull the plug on the order...

man...if that is the case, then ithe order page is very misleading.  it really does look like it's in stock ready to be shipped upon order.

   Yep very misleading, then it states "Most customers receive within 4-10 days" for the battery I ordered. They have created an out in the wording...  Kinda BS in other words!

I decided I might as well give it a try. I've got an order direct w/ DJI, one w/ B&H, and just placed w/ New Egg. We'll see!

I ordered from Newegg on 10-29, then 5 days later on 11-3 received an email notification saying in stock shown in comment #13.

The Mavic did not arrive, and I have no other information. My Newegg order just says Order Verification and it is Nov 14th.

I just ordered 6 of them so I hope this is true.. I have a buddy who ordered from Newegg on 10/4/16 and his came a couple weeks ago.   The status on newegg changed since than to allow 50 people who order to get it.. Why would they allow 50 if they can't provide 50 why not 100 if they are just taking pre orders.

Hope those of us who ordered are lucky enough to receive them.

If 2-3 days pass and no update I will simply cancel my order.

You should plan to cancel then. Mine has been on Order Verification for over 2 weeks, I'll cancel if December 15th comes and nothing changes. Don't expect anything to happen prior to that regardless of the current look of Neweggs listing.

Maybe one of you guys that just ordered with the listing no longer displaying shipping December 15th should email Newegg and see if they can clear up anything. I'd be curious to see what they would say.

Yeah... It looks suspicious to me, because so many others who pre-ordered have not received anything. I just cancelled my orders with Amazon AND Koozam over the weekend, as I ordered back at the beginning of october, but it was still saying Dec 15th.

NewEgg's site is clearly worded... It says "In stock. Ships from United States. Most customers receive within 4-10 days."

It's NewEgg, which I mostly trust (it's been 2 years since the last leaked my credit card number, and I had to close the account... this has happeded TWICE with them).

I ordered the Fly More combo this time. Have to see if it's a lie, or if they actually have it. Being that NewEgg has a tightly connected business relationship with DJI, it *might* actually be true. In any case... I can always cancel it later if it's BS... But they have updated this item many times on NewEgg, with new shipping dates. The change to "In Stock" would have to have been intentional. Also, if DJI were shipping containers by ship, this is about the right time frame for a bulk of them to have arrived... I will just have to wait and see. I give it one chance in three that it's actually gonna happen.
All I CAN say is that if it DOES turn out to be true, a lot of people who ordered 6 weeks ago through other channels are gonna be really pissed. So, if it is true, I will post back, and try really hard not to gloat, as I know it would not be fair.

Jumping on chat with them to see if they can provide insight. Not too hopeful of that or the deal, but again it's worth a quick shot. Not like it could be worse than it currently is.

Update us. I did see that Apple is starting to ship on the other thread and some of those guys are saying they ordered mid-october. They could be trolling but maybe not.

I am kind of believing it now. I ordered about a half hour ago, and NewEgg DID charge my credit card, and I even got a call from my my credit card provider to verify the transaction, because of the amount. I immediately asked if it was direct to NewEgg, or to DJI in China. The charge was to NewEgg, and I now see it on my credit card, online.

NewEgg has NEVER charged my card until they are ready to actually ship, so it is looking like this is legit. I have to say, I am completely shocked by this! Plus, Rocco12475 stated, he called and they claim they DO have them in stock.

WOW! What a turn of events... But it DOES make sense. If you look back in the history of this forum, you will see a post I did where I speculated how shipping works, and that DJI would likely ship Mavics to the US in freight containers on a ship. This delivery would take weeks, and I anticipated that they would not arrive in the US until November. I speculated that Nov 7 to Nov 15 would be the earliest that anyone would have stock. I do not know the actual turn of events, but it is possible that my speculation may not have been far off the mark. I also remember being ripped to shreds by other forum members, stating I did not know what I was talking about. This forum has a lot of skepticism, and a lot of hate. If Mavics are now arriving in bulk on US soil, perhaps tensions will ease, and members can again be civil to other members.

All that said... I am still not holding my breath that I could actually have a mavic in 5 days after ordering it just this morning... Time will tell.

I just texted Newegg to see about an order update with all of this and they replied back that they are sending the seller, DJI, an email requesting an update. I don't have high hopes. It does not seem that Newegg itself will ever have stock, they are playing the role of a middle man and just taking orders for DJI to ship it.

Dana, are you sure you were actually charged or are they merely checking you have the available credit to make the purchase? When I placed my order on Halloween with Newegg my card was ran and had a pending charge for a week and then it disappeared.
